Management Team

Packet Digital’s leadership team draws on deep expertise in the management of engineering, manufacturing, research and development, operations and finance in the wireless and semiconductor industries.


Terri Zimmerman, CEO

With more than 20 years of experience developing, incubating and commercializing new technologies, Terri has raised more than $500 million in capital to launch new products and services within global markets.

Her experience as a C-level executive includes Great Plains Software, Wamnet and Dakota Technologies. Terri has led the Packet Digital team since 2013 and the Botlink team since 2015. She was appointed to a state economic development board by the Governor of North Dakota, and is serving as chair of The Research Institute for Autonomous Systems at the University of North Dakota.

Rob Walters, Ph.D., Senior Scientist and Business Development

Dr. Walters has over 25 years of experience in electronic and optoelectronic research and development for terrestrial and space applications. His research has been on both commercial and military applications with a focus on new technology development and commercialization. He is a recognized world expert in power generation technologies. Dr. Walters has managed a number of space experiments, three of which on the ISS, as well as several experimental exercises with the USMC.

Andrew Paulsen, Director of Advanced Technologies

Director of Advanced Technologies Andrew Paulsen has been a key technical leader, developing new products and technology for Packet Digital. Andrew has extensive research, testing and product development expertise with power management technologies. Andrew also leads the embedded software team and works closely with the engineering teams on services projects and unmanned aircraft and solar products.

Packet Digital’s board of directors brings years of experience from a wide variety of industries to help guide and shape Packet Digital’s direction.

Linda Pancratz

Linda retired as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of TDL Infomedia Limited in the United Kingdom. In 1997, she participated in a management buyout of the company and eventually sold the company to Seat Pagine Gialle, S.p.A. She served on the Group Executive Committee of Seat Pagine Gialle, S.p.A. (Italy) and on the Board of Directors of TDL Infomedia Limited (UK), Thomson Directories Limited (UK), TDL Infospace Europe (UK), Thomson Directories Pension Company Limited (UK), Mobile Commerce (UK) and Europages SA (France). Under Linda’s leadership, Thomson Directories Limited was recognized as one of the “Times Top 100 Companies in the UK” and received the “Investors in People Award”. The Thomson Directories Pension Company Limited was recognized for “Trustee Excellence” as well as being named the “Best Small Pension Scheme in the UK”.

Prior to moving to the UK in 1995, she held a number of senior management positions at US West including Vice President-Small Business Services, Vice President-Business and Government Services and Vice President-Mass Market Service Delivery. Over the years, she was active in many community organizations and served on numerous boards.

Linda relocated to the US in 2007 and is currently Chairman and CEO of Mountain Capital, LLC, an investment company. She is President of the ELM Family Foundation and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Vail Mountain School and Chartrounds. Linda is also on the Board of Directors of the University of North Dakota Alumni Association and Foundation and is Co-Chair of UND’s National Campaign.

Linda earned a BSBA in business administration from the University of North Dakota in 1976, graduating with honors. She also attended the JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University completing their Executive Programs.

Dr. John Cook

Dr. Cook has spent the last 21 years as an Associate Professor at North Dakota State University teaching. Through his past experiences of teaching industrial engineering courses such as work design, integrated industrial information systems, and healthcare management engineering, John has a wide range of expertise in the engineering industry.

Jeff Jonson

Jeff Jonson has been an entrepreneur and business owner for over 30 years, and is one of Packet Digital’s original board members. He is one of the founders and owners of Rainbow Energy Marketing Corporation (REMC), which has been marketing wholesale and retail electricity, natural gas, and asset management services across the United States, Canada, and Mexico for over 23 years. Jeff is also CEO of RC Energy S. de R.L. de C.V., with offices in Monterrey and Mexico City. He owns over a dozen other businesses, including propane distribution, an oil company, commercial and industrial real estate, ranching, and development projects in the U.S. and Canada. He serves on numerous committees and boards, including the Board of Directors for Friends of Shiloh Christian School in Bismarck, N.D.
