Our new VP of Sales & Marketing, Dan Olsen, plans to use his experience to help Packet Digital and our clients in Silicon Valley and across the world. Read more about him in the Fargo Forum.
Dan Olsen has joined Packet Digital as Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Olsen will spearhead Packet Digital’s global efforts to promote and commercialize its advanced power management integrated circuits (PMICs) and solutions for portable electronic devices and embedded systems.
Olsen has over 20 years of experience in the computer industry across several disciplines. He previously ran OEM business for Hewlett Packard in the Americas, growing the business to over $200 million in annual revenue and adding over 200 new customers while managing an international sales team. His previous roles at HP include Global Marketing and Business Development, Program Management, Product Development, Technical Partnership Management and Engineering. Prior to HP, Olsen was a design engineer at Rockwell Collins where he designed cockpit instruments for the Boeing 777. He holds several patents in the field of 3D computer graphics.
Olsen earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from North Dakota State University and a Master of Science in computer engineering from Iowa State University. He will continue to reside in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Packet Digital announced today that Peter Lindgren, President and CEO of Otter Products LLC, and Linda Pancratz, Chairman and CEO of Mountain Capital, LLC, have joined its board of directors.
Lindgren has guided Otter Products, best known for its OtterBox and LifeProof brand protective cases for mobile devices, through two acquisitions and significant growth as a billion-dollar global company while delivering strong financial performance and employee engagement. Prior to joining Otter Products, Lindgren spent more than 25 years in the electronics manufacturing services industry in various leadership roles, last serving as executive vice president of global operations for Celestica, a publicly held product lifecycle solutions company. In this position, he was responsible for 20,000 employees operating in 27 sites throughout North America, Europe and Asia across nine market segments, delivering $7 billion in revenue.
Pancratz is currently Chairman and CEO of Mountain Capital, LLC, an investment company. She retired as Chairman of the Board and CEO of TDL Infomedia Limited in the United Kingdom. She completed a management buyout of the company, started a variety of businesses and created a few European joint ventures. She served on a number of corporate boards across Europe. Under Pancratz’s leadership, one of the subsidiaries was recognized as one of the “Times Top 100 Companies in the UK,” received the “Investors in People Award” and the pension company was recognized for “Trustee Excellence” as well as being named the “Best Small Pension Scheme in the UK.” Pancratz has extensive international business and corporate governance experience, as well as broad based management and leadership experience on both sides of the Atlantic.

Packet Digital is pleased and honored to announce the addition of Bill Owens to the Board of Directors. Bill comes to Packet Digital with a long and distinguished career in the business and communications industries, serving as Chief Executive Officer or Chairman of the Board for several different companies, as well as a military career spanning 32 years during which time he held various high-ranking leadership positions.
